Best Practices for Management and Sustainability of Malaysia’s Carrageenophyte Aquaculture Industry – Launching of a Policy Brief Focusing on Malaysia and the ASEAN Region In collaboration with GlobalSeaweedStar and University of Malaya, and in partnership with the Scottish Association for Marine Science, United Nations University-CRIS, ODI and Department of Fisheries, Sabah. The purpose of the webinar was to be updated on the research findings and the launching of a Policy Brief entitled ‘Sustainable Value Chain for Malaysian Seaweed Industry – A Roadmap for Policy Formulation’ to address the key gaps and needs in the sustainable value chain for the Malaysian seaweed industry. It also aimed to provide a roadmap on sectoral policy formulation at both state and region level. The Policy Brief on the Malaysian Seaweed Industry was presented by  Prof. Dr. Lim Phaik Eem, Institute of Ocean and Earth Sciences, University of Malaya.
