Nichola Dyer is Senior Advisor to the Global Seaweed Coalition and Founder and Chief Executive Officer of NJDyer Global Advisory. She brings extensive experience across multilateral institutions and the public, private, academic and non-profit sectors to her work on sustainability. She has designed and led strategic global initiatives across a wide range of sectors and themes, including seaweed and aquaculture, food systems, food security, governance, and the inclusion of marginalised and vulnerable groups.

She serves on the Advisory Board of GlobalSeaweed-SUPERSTAR and on the boards of several non-profit organisations. During her 26 years with the World Bank Group, she managed the USD 1.5 billion Global Agriculture and Food Security Program, developed new operational initiatives on the inclusion of excluded minorities and persons with disabilities, led the ethics office, and established the Gabon country office. She holds an MSc in Economics from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
